The Muncie CS8B-U6003-E3BX or CS8BU6003E3BX is a CS8 Series power take-off with an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. The CS8 Series accommodates SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct-mount pump flanges, with rotatable flanges for pump positioning clearance. Three remote-mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for versatility in remote pump drive applications. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, reducing wear on downstream components. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed. Commonly fits Allison 1000/2000 series and many popular manual transmissions.
