The Muncie CS8B-U6809-E3BX or CS8BU6809E3BX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It mounts to most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series, through 19 available transmission input gear options. Direct pump mounting is handled via SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges and DIN 5462 interfaces, with rotatable flanges allowing clearance positioning to suit tight installations. Three remote mount output shafts cover keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary in the off position, and an optional pulse generator supports shaft speed monitoring via a System Protection Device. Pro Gear and Transmission carries this genuine Muncie unit.
