The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6004-P3BX or CS8BU6004P3BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for broad transmission compatibility across popular automatic and manual applications, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges meet S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options - available in keyed and flange types - add flexibility for remote pump drive setups. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
