The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6807-A3IX or CS8BU6807A3IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for broad transmission compatibility across most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the unit is in the "OFF" position, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
