The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6809-A3ZX or CS8BU6809A3ZX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for common fitment with Allison 1000/2000 series automatics and many manual transmissions. Direct mount pump flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump faces, and the flanges rotate to maximize clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange configurations for hydraulic pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
