The Muncie CS8B-U6809-E1ZX or CS8BU6809E1ZX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It covers a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including common Allison 1000/2000 series applications, through multiple transmission input gear options. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the rotatable flange design lets you position the pump for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports shaft speed monitoring via a System Protection Device.
