The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6812-A1KD or CS8BU6812A1KD, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO built for both automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 configurations, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to maximize pump clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are offered in keyed and flange types for added application flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
