The Muncie CS8D-S6812-A1EX or CS8DS6812A1EX is an 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off from Muncie's CS8 Series. It fits most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series, using 19 input gear configurations. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 flanges, all of which are rotatable for pump positioning clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
