The Muncie CS8D-S6812-E1KD (also referenced as CS8DS6812E1KD) is a CS8 Series power take-off engineered for both automatic and manual transmission installations. It covers 19 transmission input gear configurations, giving it broad fitment across popular truck applications including Allison 1000/2000 series and many manual transmissions. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the rotatable flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
