The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8D-S6812-P1PX or CS8DS6812P1PX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump patterns, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options - available in keyed and flange types - provide flexibility for remote pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator is available for integration with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
