The Muncie CS8D-S6812-E1KX or CS8DS6812E1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear combinations, covering most popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" standards as well as DIN 5462, and those flanges are rotatable for maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation whenever the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
