The Muncie CS8D-U6812-E1PX or CS8DU6812E1PX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with most popular automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000 and 2000 series. Direct mount pump options cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for added versatility with remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents unwanted shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
