The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-M6509-A3VX or CS8SM6509A3VX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for broad transmission compatibility, including Allison 1000/2000 series automatics and most popular manual transmissions. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump bolt patterns. Three remote mount output shaft options - keyed and flange types - give additional flexibility for remote pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
