The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-M6509-E3KD or CS8SM6509E3KD, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Rated at 300 lb.ft. intermittent torque and 210 lb.ft. continuous torque (at speed ratios 03-07), this unit supports SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump configurations. Rotatable direct mount flanges allow pump positioning for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options - keyed and flange types - add versatility for remote pump drive setups. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
