The Muncie CS8S-U6005-P1B5 or CS8SU6005P1B5 is a CS8 Series power take-off unit built around an 8-bolt clutch-shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote-mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types to support various pump drive setups. Direct-mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and those flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance for the pump. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
