The Muncie CS8S-U6005-E3KX or CS8SU6005E3KX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It covers a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including Allison 1000/2000 series, through 19 available transmission input gear options. Three remote mount output shafts are offered in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" patterns as well as DIN 5462, and the flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
