The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6806-A1EX or CS8SU6806A1EX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and all flanges are rotatable to allow maximum pump clearance in the installation. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange configurations for versatile pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
