The Muncie CS8S-U6806-A1KX or CS8SU6806A1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It covers 19 transmission input gear positions, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to give maximum pump clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. The patented Muncie drag brake keeps the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available to let a System Protection Device monitor PTO shaft speed.
