The Muncie CS8S-U6806-E1BD or CS8SU6806E1BD is an 8-bolt clutch-shift power take-off from the CS8 Series, commonly fitted to Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions and many popular manual transmissions. It offers direct-mount pump compatibility with SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, and three remote-mount output shaft configurations in both keyed and flange types. Rotatable direct-mount flanges allow the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance in tight installations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
