The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6806-E1SX or CS8SU6806E1SX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO with direct mount and remote mount output options. It accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pumps, with rotatable flanges that allow the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for added pump drive flexibility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, reducing wear on connected components. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed. The CS8 series fits most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series.
