The Muncie CS8S-U6003-E1SX or CS8SU6003E1SX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It accepts 19 transmission input gears, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are offered in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and all flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance during installation. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
