The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E1SX or CS8SU6809E1SX is an 8-bolt clutch-shift Power Take-Off from the CS8 Series, designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000 and 2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to maximize pump clearance, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump interfaces. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange configurations for versatile pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake keeps the output shaft stationary when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
