The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6807-P1KD or CS8SU6807P1KD, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 bolt patterns, and the flanges rotate to give maximum clearance when positioning a pump. Three remote mount output shaft options cover keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is in the off position, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor shaft speed.
