The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A1CX or CS8SU6809A1CX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance and accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pumps. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for versatile remote pump drives. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device speed monitoring.
