The Muncie CS8S-U6809-P1IX or CS8SU6809P1IX is an 8-bolt clutch shift Power Take-Off from the CS8 Series, designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000 and 2000 series. The unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pumps, and its rotatable direct mount flanges allow the pump to be repositioned for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange configurations, adding flexibility for remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, protecting the driven equipment.
