The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8S-U6809-A3KW or CS8SU6809A3KW, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and all flanges are rotatable so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange configurations for versatility in remote pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
