The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A1SX or CS8SU6809A1SX is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO from the CS8 Series, measuring 11.63 in. H x 13.38 in. W x 15.63 in. L. It covers a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series, through multiple transmission input gear positions. Direct mount pump flanges are SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 compatible, and each flange rotates to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options -- keyed and flange types -- add flexibility for remote pump drive setups. The patented Muncie drag brake holds the shaft stationary in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator supports shaft-speed monitoring through a System Protection Device.
