The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8S-U6809-E1VX or CS8SU6809E1VX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO built for direct mount pump applications on a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Nineteen transmission input gear options cover most popular gearboxes. Direct mount flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pumps, and the flanges rotate to allow clearance positioning. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive setups. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
