The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-A3PP or CS8SU6809A3PP, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and all flanges rotate to maximize pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options, available in keyed and flange types, add flexibility for hydraulic pump installations. The patented Muncie drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
