The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-S1ZX or CS8SU6809S1ZX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum installation clearance, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump interfaces. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types, giving flexibility for various pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake keeps the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator enables a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
