The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A3PX or CS8SU6809A3PX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, covering a wide range of popular automatic and manual transmissions. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive installations. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the rotatable flange design lets you position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
