The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-E1IX or CS8SU6809E1IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, and the flanges are rotatable so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive installations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
