The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-E3TX or CS8SU6809E3TX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO built to the CS6/CS8 platform. It covers a wide range of transmission installations, fitting most popular automatic and manual transmissions through its 19-position input gear coverage. Direct mount pump flanges are offered in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" patterns as well as DIN 5462, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to maximize pump clearance. Three remote output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports shaft speed monitoring via a System Protection Device.
