The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-H3EX or CS8SU6809H3EX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatility in remote pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator connects to the System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
