The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-S1SX or CS8SU6809S1SX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" standards as well as DIN 5462, and the flanges are rotatable to allow pump positioning for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for versatility with remote pump drives. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator interfaces with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
