The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A1VX or CS8SU6812A1VX is an 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off from the CS8 Series, designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000 and 2000 series. It offers SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump interfaces, with rotatable direct mount flanges so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in both keyed and flange configurations for added flexibility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
