The Muncie CS8S-U6812-E1KD or CS8SU6812E1KD is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, covering a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable and conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, allowing pump positioning for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator can be added to let a System Protection Device monitor PTO shaft speed.
