The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A3ZX or CS8SU6812A3ZX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO from the CS8 Series, designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 Series. It offers three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. Direct mount pump flanges accommodate SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance positioning. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
