The Muncie CS8S-U6812-E3SX or CS8SU6812E3SX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. This unit accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. Direct mount pump options include SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, with rotatable direct mount flanges allowing pump positioning for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
