The Muncie CS8S-U6812-A3KX or CS8SU6812A3KX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 Series units. It offers three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance in tight installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
