The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6003-E1KD or CS8SU6003E1KD, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000 and 2000 series. Direct-mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and those flanges are rotatable for maximum pump clearance. Intermittent torque rating reaches 300 ft-lb (407 Nm) at speed ratios 03 through 07, with continuous torque rated at 210 ft-lb (285 Nm). Muncie's patented drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available for use with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
