The Muncie SH8 Series Power Take-Off, part number SH8S-U6809-E3IX or SH8SU6809E3IX, is an air-shift-only PTO built for high-torque applications. It fills the range between the TG and 82 Series with an integral air shift design that keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed inside the housing. The 8-bolt cast iron housing mounts securely to the transmission, and the unit is compatible with 17 input gear sets covering most popular transmissions. Five available speed ratios give broad application versatility, and 12 output shaft options accommodate most common pump configurations. Intermittent torque capacity reaches 400 lb-ft at speed ratios 05 and 07, stepping down to 375 lb-ft at ratio 09 and 325 lb-ft at ratios 12 and 13.
