Permatex 51531 is an anaerobic flange sealant supplied in a 50 ml tube. Formulated for rigid machined flanges with gaps up to 0.015 in., it cures in the absence of air, making it suitable wherever OEM specifications call for an anaerobic gasket material. The cured sealant withstands temperatures up to 300°F (149°C) and flexes with flanges that move in service, eliminating the need for preformed, pre-cut, paper, rubber, or cork gaskets.
