The Chelsea 489DFMAX-P6RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on earlier designs, reducing potential leak paths. This unit features pressure lubrication (P) and a mechanical wire/cable shift. The 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft is compatible with Chelsea's 360-degree rotatable flange options. The 489 Series carries the same torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft, backed by tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity.
