The Chelsea 489XLITX-H5RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers intermittent torque capacity of 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm) and supports up to 46 to 55 HP output, with an output shaft of 1-1/4" round (keyed). The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for stronger load-bearing capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the unit is built for vocational applications including utility trucks, dump trucks, and snow and ice removal equipment.
