The Chelsea 489XLITX-A5GK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to bolt directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and supports shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Air shift, strong tapered bearings, and a greaseable SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft round out the design. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
