The Chelsea 871XDFJP-B3AB is a 10-bolt, hydraulic PowerShift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) with no derating required for continuous duty operation. A compact housing reduces clearance concerns, and the ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in its predecessor, the 870 Series. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and helps reduce the effects of engine vibration. The 871 Series offers nine speed ratios and thirteen output options, and is the only Chelsea PTO to combine Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options in a single platform. Applications include fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper cleaner, and refuse trucks.
