The Chelsea 272GBHVP-H5XR is a 272 Series 6-bolt hot shift power take-off designed for medium-duty truck applications including aerial, construction, water truck, and towing and recovery work. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and is available with hydraulic or pneumatic shift. It consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single platform with nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. An integral air control valve is included. Output shaft options in the series include round shaft configurations with 1-1/4 in. and 5/16 in. key. Rotatable flanges and an optional wet-spline output help extend pump shaft service life.
