The Chelsea 489DFMAX-P6XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit features pressure lubrication (P) and a mechanical wire/cable shift. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft.
