The Chelsea 288GGFJP-M3AC or 288GGFJPM3AC is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off built on the 288 Series platform. It mounts to a 10-bolt transmission port and features a round shaft output with a 1-inch diameter and 1/4-inch key. The 288 Series is rated for continuous duty torque up to 390 lb-ft, with nine available speed ratios spanning low and high ranges. Ductile iron bearing caps replace the gray iron used in the predecessor 287 Series, delivering 117% greater strength. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The cast iron housing and rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce clearance interference issues. Common markets include snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse applications.
